PROTECT ARTSAKH

The Protect ARTsakh initiative was founded in 2020 by Lara Arslanian, Garabed Bardakjian, and Sarine Semerjian. This online charity art auction showcased 78 artworks from 60 international artists, all united and working together towards raising funds to support Artsakh families affected by the war. All proceeds from the auction were directed to relief efforts facilitated by humanitarian organizations, namely, Naregatsi Art Institute, Armenia Fund, YES Armenia (Youth Empowerment and Sustainability), Armenia Support Fund, Kooyrigs, and Tumo Center. Additionally, the Arslanian Foundation committed an extra $30,000 to aid Artsakh. Protect ARTsakh was made possible through the strong collaboration between artists, patrons, and partnering non-profit organizations. All profits contributed to short and long-term assistance such as housing, heating, clothing, food, education, and aid for pregnant women.
