Arslanian foundation, a Belgium-based non-profit organization, which has been founded by the youngest generation of the Arslanian Family in 2020 to support various causes for the Armenian communities, takes the initiative to help families to send their children to Hamazkayin’s Raffi & Anelga Arslanian Nursery.
This initiative has been prompted by the recent humanitarian crises in Lebanon, and represents the Family’s unwavering commitment to the future generations of its home-country.
The foundation will be providing scholarships for up to 100 children enrolling in the nursery starting August 2022 and a food plan consisting of 3 meals and 2 snacks for 7 days/week. It will also provide a minibus for the transportation of these children. In addition, the foundation will finance the costs of creating a new and multilingual website for the nursery.
“I am very happy to provide this opportunity for the children to be able to attend Hamazkayin’s Raffi & Anelga Arslanian Nursery,” said Mr. Sahag Arslanian, Foundation’s board member. “The Foundation believes that every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to his/her full potential.”
“The aim of our nursery is to provide high quality care and education for children, a secure foundation for learning in an encouraging, safe, and nurturing environment under the guidance and supervision of professional staff. Thanks to Arslanian Foundation’s donation, many children will be able to attend our nursery,” said the principal of Hamazkayin Melankton and Haig Arslanian College, Mrs. Paola Yeghiayan, on behalf of Raffi and Anelga Arslanian Nursery.
Hamazkayin’s Armenian Educational and Cultural Society is a non-profit organization furthering educational and cultural goals of Armenians and is governed by democratic principles.
The Hamazkayin Raffi and Anelga Arslanian Nursery School was founded in April 2018. It welcomes children from three months to three years of age in its state-of-the-art facility located in Mezher, Antelias. It completes the A.R.S. Norsigian Kindergarten which welcomes children from 3 years to 6 years old as well as the Melankton and Haig Arslanian Djemaran from Grade 1 to Grade 12, a quadrilingual (Armenian, Arabic, French, and English) institution that prepares students for dual Baccalaureates (Lebanese and French). All these 3 divisions combined can accommodate up to 1000 students.
